Say hello to Arnica, Catherine Zeta-Jones’ best friend from the set of musical Chicago . The pal isn’t a she. I had that sticky stuff glued to me for months. Brings out the bruising, darling.’

[…] Homeopathy was more attractive to the average person, and though the AMA claimed that only the ignorant were attracted to homeopathy, it attracted the most respected members of society: William James, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Daniel Webster, William Seward, Horace Greeley, Louisa May Alcott, William Cullen Bryant, and Susan B. Although lots of educated people and celebrities are using homoeopathy, it lacks WHO support, Government and media support. There is no big pharmas to support it also. People who are benefitted should come forward to support this great
system. Otherwise humanity will loose one of the best medical system…………..

homeopathy existed before scientists. It lacks support, yes, because it’s cheaper, there’s no money for research, so proof is harder to find; where it is proven to work it’s put down to the placebo effect – which doesn’t explain how homeopathy (and other natural therapies) work for young children and animals. Drug companies can’t make massive profits from herbs unless they identify the active ingredient and turn it into a pill: consider foxglove – digitalis – used to treat heart problems; willow bark – salicin – used to make aspirin – both of which have side effects. Modern medicine does not cure – it manages symptoms if you are lucky. Then you need a second pill to control the side effects of the first one …
Homeopathy has always intrigued me with its holistic approach to healing. It’s amazing how it considers not only the physical symptoms but also the emotional and mental aspects of health. As the great Samuel Hahnemann once said, ‘The highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle, and permanent restoration of health.’ This quote beautifully encapsulates the essence of homeopathic treatment. Thanks for shedding light on the benefits of homeopathy in your blog post.
