At the turn of the century there were 22 homeopathic medical schools in the U.S. Although none of these schools presently exist, a growing number of schools and training programs have begun in recent years and many more are expected in the years ahead.
We encourage you to visit our website at Homeopathic Educational Services (http://www.homeopathic.com/). In addition to accessing over 100 free articles on homeopathy, we have a very comprehensive online catalogue of hundreds of homeopathic books, tapes, medicines, medicine kits, software, and distance learning courses (we serve people ALL over the world with these products and services).
We highly recommend that people first learn how to use a homeopathic medicine kit, and there’s a new e-course that was developed just for this goal. For details, go to: http://www.HomeopathicFamilyMedicine.com — This e-course is a mixture of short videos and a detailed ebook that teach you how to use 50 to 100 (!) homeopathic medicines…plus the ebook provides reference to and description of 300+ clinical studies published in peer-review medical journals (in user-friendly ways!).
Five naturopathic medical schools have good programs in homeopathy. In order to get into them, you must have at least two years of chemistry, a year of biology, and some other pre- medical coursework. These schools offer a four-year program.

Hello Dana,
Do you happen to know if anyone offers First-Aid Homeopathy courses for lay-people, non-medically trained people….?
Thank you, Julie
YES! In fact, we sell a great “first aid” e-course that is called “Learning to Use a Homeopathic Medicine Kit.” You can learn more about it here:
https://homeopathicfamilymedicine.com/
This e-course included a detailed ebook plus a variety of short videos (you can choose to purchase the e-course with 15, 25, 40, 60, or 80 videos!). This e-course is great for parents OR anyone who wants to learn to use homeopathic medicines in family health care.
I’m in MO with a PA license from CA that does not transfer to MO. I would like to get a Homeopathic Diploma/License/Certificate or what ever I would need to practice in the states. It seems that different states have different requirements. We move around a bit so I need something that is more globally accepted. Does this even exist? There is no school near me and I was recommended to IACH (Greece school) for online training. Any help is very much appreciated.
There are no “medical degrees” that are universally accepted, so you can understand that there are no homeopathic degrees that are accepted throughout the world.
However, people who get GOOD training in homeopathy and who then become good homeopaths do not seem to have problems establishing a homeopathic practice. Every country has its own laws. You need to research what those are.
[…] 1.Queen Elizabeth has a Royal Homeopathic Doctor. 2. Prince Philip supports homeopathy as preventative and curative health care. 3. Homeopathy is outrageously: inexpensive. 4. Homeopathy is virtually free of side-effects. 5. Anyone can self prescribe a homeopathic remedy. 6. Or you can go to a classical homeopathic doctor. 7. You go to school to become a homeopathic doctor. […]
Homeopathy is a safe and healthy system of treatment, with the natural process of medicine to relieve symptoms and improve overall health. It helps the body to restore itself and improve body to complete health..
Nicely well written article. It is awesome article to read. Complete rich content and fully informative.
No doubt Homeopathy is the science of 21st century, totally safe for children, old and even pregnant mothers. It helps to increase self immunity of the bady.
I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Services. I live in rural Kansas. Are there any online Masters degree or PhD programs that are available? Homeopathy is where my heart is.
Good question. There are various distance learning universities that allow you to get Masters and Doctoral degrees. You may be able to explore what they can offer if you create your own program of self-study ALONG with formal courses in homeopathy.
The one high-quality school that we represent is here is Homeopathic School International: https://homeopathic.com/product/homeopathy-school-international-becoming-professional-homeopath/
Although this school is in Colorado, they allow distance learning.
I’m interested in learning homeopathy myself. I always assumed that I was listening to homeopathic doctors since the ones I spend most of their time mentioning effect, natural remedies which is a good thing to me. I’m under the impression now that lots of the doctors I listen to and learn from have PhD’s. I’m beginning to think that my favorite doctors spent 8 years in med school, and ventured over into the nutrition side of medicine as time moved on. Just a thought. I’m inspired by many good doctors and hope I can somehow help people with healing and good health. That’s what motivates me to learn more about good health and medicine.
I’m very interested in exploring homeopathy as a career, and I appreciate the detailed list of schools and training programs provided in this post. I’m particularly drawn to the programs that offer a combination of theoretical and practical training, as I believe this is the best way to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. I’m looking forward to learning more and deciding which program is the best fit for me.
Good to hear of your special interest in exploring homeopathy as a career. We NEED more homeopaths!
